Hello! A little bit about me. I am proud mom who hails from the Heartland and now finds herself exploring the rugged beauty of the PNW. I love, love, love books and storytelling (in all its many forms).
I am also a classically trained, award-winning actress who has played leading roles at acclaimed theatre companies all over North America, such as Yale Repertory, The Old Globe, South Coast Repertory, and the Denver Center for The Performing Arts. A highlight was four seasons at The Stratford Festival of Canada playing roles such as Viola in Twelfth Night, Isabella in Measure for Measure, and Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream.
I have also enjoyed a successful career in film and television, such as Significant Other (Paramount Plus) and a recurring role on Trinkets (Netflix), as well as video games such as Starfield, and many national commercial voice over campaigns, promos, and trailers.
My love for audiobooks started in my twenties when I was crisscrossing the country in my beat up powder blue Lincoln Continental to get to various theatre gigs. All the great stories helped make short work of long journeys.
I still love listening and performing whenever I can. People have described my voice as rich, warm, inviting, friendly, and easy to listen to. These qualities are a great fit for many types of books: from drama, mystery and romance, to wry, sassy, modern comedy. Need an accent? Iām very comfortable bringing Southern American, British, and Irish characters to life, and have proficiency with a number of other dialects.
When not behind the mic or on stage, I can be found camping in the Oregon wild, enjoying my husband's culinary delights, cheering on my nine year-old daughter as she tears it up on the basketball court, and taking long walks with our new pup, Stella. All the better to listen to more audiobooks!
